CMC Marine at Metstrade 2019 with two of its top products

The company based in Tuscany is proud to announce its attendance of the Marine Equipment Trade Show from Nov. 19 to 21, 2019, where it will be showing two of its top products, Stabilis Electra HS160 and Waveless STAB 25. CMC Marine will also play a leading role at the Superyacht Forum organized in the framework of Metstrade, with a paper presented by Alessandro Gallifuoco, CMC Marine Business Development Manager and CMC Marine USA Vice President.

Metstade, the world’s most important and best-attended international trade fair for operators in the pleasure boat accessory industry, held annually in Amsterdam, will once again welcome CMC Marine, a leading designer and manufacturer of stabilizer systems, steering gear and bow thrusters.

The company from Tuscany will be showing a Stabilis Electra HS 160 unit and a fully functional Waveless Stab 25. The HS 160 is one of CMC Marine’s top models and forms part of the Stabilis Electra range, which makes use of brushless technology and features various systems depending on the type of boat they are fitted to: HS (High Speed), LR (Long Range) and SH (Short Range). Designed for installation on planing hulls, HS differs from LR because the range is fitted with long fins and limited compensation for optimal zero speed operation.

But CMC Marine could hardly take the HS160 to the show without also taking one of the Pisa-based company’s most recent new products, Waveless by CMC Marine, the family of stabilizers for mid-to-large size boats that made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier this year. The model chosen for the Dutch trade fair is a Waveless STAB 25, the smallest in the company’s range of ultracompact electric stabilizers. It has onboard dimensions of 38 centimeters in diameter and 22 centimeters in height, and is designed for boats starting from 12 meters in length.

CMC Marine will also take part for the first time to the Superyacht Forum, an important conference organized by The Superyacht Group in partnership with METSTRADE. The Superyacht Forum will tackle some of the most interesting topics for industry operators and one of the panelists this year will be Alessandro Gallifuoco, CMC Marine Business Development Manager and CMC Marine USA Vice President, who will present a paper entitled “How much stability do we really need?”.
Here – together with other industry experts – it will be discussed how to select the best stabilization system for each owner’s needs, and the need to identify uniform measurement methods, topics of interest to owners, captains, architects and shipyards alike.

CMC Marine is reporting significant international success and growth in this period, as the company’s founder and CEO, Alessandro Cappiello explains: “Our contribution to this important workshop confirms that professionals and industry operators recognise our position as leading manufacturers and top experts in the stabilization system business. 35% of superyachts on the world market are fitted with our systems and it is an understatement to say that this fills us with pride and satisfaction”. Cappiello added: “Another news that makes us very happy is that we have recently become a partner in the international Water Revolution Foundation, a non-profit association set up to minimise the impact of the superyacht industry on the environment. This is a trending issue that all industry players should be engaged in more actively”.

CMC Marine will be attending METSTRADE from Nov. 19 to 20, 2019 at Stand 10.418 Hall 9-10-11

Alessandro Gallifuoco will be a Panelist in the Superyacht Forum workshop “How much stability do we really need?”, scheduled for Wednesday Nov. 20, 2019, from 12:15pm to 1:30pm, at the Superyacht Pavilion Forum – Entrance E
