At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, Maiora, a brand of Next Yacht Group, unveiled its latest developments during a dedicated press conference, presenting four models that reflect the brand’s ongoing collaboration with renowned names in design.
The presentation featured the Maiora M|30 and M|38, both designed by QuartoStile; the Maiora M|53, designed by Luca Dini; and the Maiora Supernova 50, developed with design contributions from Tommaso Spadolini and ELIE SAAB.
Four projects, each bringing a distinct design perspective to Maiora’s evolving portfolio. Below, a closer look at the individual models.
Maiora M|30
Unveiled in a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the Maiora M|30 is the first model in the new M Collection, introducing a design philosophy centred on the seamless connection between yacht and sea. Measuring 30.40 metres in length, the yacht features exterior design by Quartostile and interiors developed by Maiora’s Style Centre in collaboration with ACUBE. Its distinctive near-coupé profile, expansive glazing and continuous circulation routes create a fluid relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, extending from the enlarged beach area to the approximately 36-square-metre main saloon. Across three decks, M|30 accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck. Powered by twin MAN V12-2000 engines, it reaches a top speed of 21 knots, combining performance with an onboard experience defined by natural light, spatial continuity and a constant connection with the water.
Maiora M|38
Presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the Maiora M|38 is the new flagship of the M Collection, bringing the brand’s design philosophy to its fullest expression. Measuring 37 metres in length, the yacht features exterior design by Quartostile and interiors developed by the Maiora Style Office in collaboration with ACUBE Designer. Its sculpted profile, expansive glazing and seamless spatial connections establish a continuous dialogue between architecture and the sea. A defining feature is the beach area, directly connected to the main-deck cockpit and equipped with folding bulwarks and a swimming pool with a retractable walk-on cover, creating a versatile waterfront terrace. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including a 45-square-metre full-beam owner’s suite, while the approximately 51-square-metre main saloon offers generous volumes and flexible configurations. Combining extensive customization with high-performance engineering, M|38 reaches a top speed of 30 knots with conventional propulsion.
Maiora M|53
With the Maiora M|53, the brand enters a new dimension of the superyacht segment, presenting a 53-metre steel and aluminium yacht designed by Luca Dini. With a gross tonnage of under 500 GT, the project introduces a vision of onboard living centred on wellbeing, flexibility and the quality of time spent at sea. Expansive glazing, timeless exterior lines and fluid connections between indoor and outdoor spaces establish a continuous dialogue with the surrounding landscape. Among its defining features is the main-deck owner’s suite, conceived as a private apartment with over 100 square metres of interior and exterior space, including a wellness area and panoramic forward terrace with swimming pool. The stern features an extensive beach area with a pool, lounge and bar, while the innovative Observatory Deck offers an elevated retreat dedicated to privacy and contemplation. With versatile guest accommodation, dedicated fitness and wellness areas, and a layout suited to both private use and high-end charter, M|53 reinterprets the contemporary superyacht around freedom, comfort and a more personal connection with the sea.
Maiora Supernova 50
The Maiora Supernova 50 marks the brand’s entry into the steel and aluminium superyacht segment, renewing its collaboration with ELIE SAAB following the 42 Exuma. The 50-metre yacht, with exterior design and general arrangement co-authored by Tommaso Spadolini and ELIE SAAB, features interiors by ELIE SAAB under the creative direction of Elie Saab and Carlo Colombo. With a gross tonnage below 500 GT, the yacht accommodates guests in six cabins, including an exclusive Owner’s Deck offering approximately 90 square metres of private indoor and outdoor space, and two main-deck suites with private terraces. Expansive outdoor areas extend across five decks, culminating in a transformable beach area with a swimming pool and fold-down wings. Designed for long-range cruising, Supernova 50 combines a transatlantic range with a top speed of approximately 16 knots. Currently under construction at Maiora’s Pisa shipyard, with delivery scheduled for the second half of 2028, the project brings together Italian shipbuilding expertise, refined hospitality and a design philosophy centred on privacy, comfort and a seamless connection with the sea.
