HOLLD Yachts is delighted to advise that the build of its HOLLD 74 all-carbon sailing catamaran continues to advance with the quiet precision the shipyard prides itself on.
With the deckhouse successfully joined to the carbon fibre hull earlier this month, the yacht’s unmistakable profile is now clear, and the build remains firmly on course for completion January 2027.
Each phase of construction reflects the shipyard’s commitment to uncompromising carbon engineering and refined Dutch craftsmanship. The build of the HOLLD 74 utilises a one-shot carbon fibre and epoxy resin infusion process, with hand-lamination limited to less than one percent. This meticulous construction method will deliver incredible rigidity and strength, and achieve impressive weight efficiencies.
The twin Yanmar engines have also been installed, and integration of the electrical systems has now commenced.
Once assembly is complete, the entire carbon structure will be baked and cured on-site at the shipyard’s facility in Zwartsluis, Netherlands, before painting.
Helping to maintain the strict weight discipline, all interior furniture will also be constructed entirely from carbon fibre.
Designed for performance-oriented world cruising and family adventures, the HOLLD 74 is crafted to explore.
The interior layout and living spaces prioritise family life and cruising in comfort. To aft on the main deck there’s a built-in sofa, seats within the sugar scoops, and corner seating either side of full-height glass doors that lead through to an open plan galley, lounge and dining space. On the port side, steps lead down to the master cabin – positioned forward – and there’s a guest twin or crew cabin to aft. On the starboard side to aft, is a VIP double with adjacent private lounge, and a third double cabin is positioned forward. Developed in collaboration with Linda Chevallerau, everything will be executed to bespoke, superyacht interior standards and refined to suit individual client tastes.
