SAIM Celebrates 75 Years with a Corporate Convention Focused on Heritage, People, and the Future

On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, SAIM is celebrating this important milestone with a corporate convention designed as a moment of reflection, inspiration, and collective sharing.

Milan – Founded on July 1, 1951, the company chose this symbolic date to bring its employees together for an event that represented not only a celebration of its journey so far, but also a tangible look toward future challenges. The convention marked the final event of the SAIM 75 project, which had been developed over the previous months through cultural and participatory initiatives dedicated to telling the story of the company’s identity.

The event stood out for its informal, dynamic, and engaging format, designed to highlight the contribution of its people and strengthen the sense of belonging. The day combined institutional moments with inspirational content, including speeches by the management team focused on achievements and future development prospects, presentations by external guest speakers, and entertainment activities aimed at encouraging participation and dialogue.

“This convention represents much more than a celebration,” emphasized Massimo Donà, Chairman and CEO of SAIM. “It is an opportunity to recognize the commitment and value of the people who have helped build our history and to share a common vision focused on the future.”

At the heart of the initiative was the concept “Deep Roots, Looking to the Future,” which guided the entire SAIM 75 project and found its culminating moment in the convention. The message reflects the identity of a company that has been able to evolve over time while remaining firmly anchored to its founding values: respect, collaboration, and responsibility.

“We wanted to create an experience capable of actively engaging all participants,” added Marco Donà, Vice Chairman and CEO of SAIM. “Innovation, technology, and sustainability are fundamental drivers of our growth, but it is human capital that gives them meaning and direction.”

The July 1 convention therefore marked the conclusion of a celebratory journey that saw all SAIM employees take part in photography and short-film contests, scholarship programs, and video productions created in collaboration with NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano. At the same time, it represented a new starting point: a shared moment to reaffirm the central role of people and face the challenges of an ever-evolving environment with confidence.

The SAIM 75 initiatives and celebratory events were organized by Tarpini Production, which was responsible for the creative direction and production of the entire project.
