Dutch shipyard Feadship has recently launched the superyacht Moonrise, an impressive 101-meter vessel that represents a refined evolution of its predecessor, also named Moonrise. The earlier version, measuring 99 meters, was delivered in 2020 and is considered one of the most admired yachts in the 100-meter category. The new Moonrise retains the same sleek exterior lines, the signature vertical bow, and even the same gray and snow-white color scheme.
While the yacht shares its exterior design by Studio De Voogt and sophisticated interiors by Rémi Tessier with the previous model, the latest Moonrise incorporates numerous technological advancements and design refinements that enhance both aesthetics and functionality. The most striking change is the complete removal of the typical domes or “radomes” found on superyachts. The predecessor featured five domes housing VSAT and TVRO antennas, whereas the new Moonrise integrates Starlink satellite receivers directly into the superstructure, improving communication and streaming capabilities without compromising the yacht’s streamlined appearance.
Other enhancements include a taller mast, an expanded sun deck featuring a massage area, gym, and hair salon, as well as larger exterior decks and an extended swim platform. The yacht’s layout includes a dedicated owner’s deck and a private cinema on the bridge deck. Naval architecture has been optimized to ensure superior comfort both underway and at anchor, with special attention to noise reduction, achieved through the precise design of the propeller blades and underwater appendages.
Currently, Moonrise is undergoing final outfitting and preparing for sea trials before being delivered to its owner.
