The SX line by Sanlorenzo surprises once again the American market

10 February 2020 – From 13 to 17 February, during the Miami International Boat Show 2020, the most important yachting event in the USA, Sanlorenzo – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of yachts and superyachts – narrates its daring, sophisticated approach to design by presenting a selection of the most emblematic yachts in the fleet.
Among the boats on view, the SX76 and SX88 stand out, two models from the SX crossover series, an absolutely innovative concept in the world of yachting introduced by Sanlorenzo in 2017, and an emblem of the brand’s unique ability to always stay one step ahead, seeing new possibilities where no one has imagined them before, to create solutions that forecast the needs of clients.

In line with the tailor-made approach of Sanlorenzo, for which every project is one of a kind, thanks to research on materials, technologies and bespoke details where nothing is left to chance, the yachts on view have been envisioned and produced in all aspects to meet the needs of American clients in technical terms (electrical systems, requirements of acoustic and thermal insulation, air conditioning systems), in compliance with local regulations and standards, also in terms of styling and culture.

Sanlorenzo Americas, the historic embassy of the brand in the States, becomes the narrator of corporate values like craftsmanship, sartorial excellence, attention to detail and the pursuit of maximum quality, while responding to the requirements of the local market, interpreting every project in relation to the American culture and lifestyle thanks to a direct presence, which guarantees in-depth knowledge of tastes and values. From the technical aspects to the layout of the internal spaces, Sanlorenzo yachts perfectly interpret the requests and desires of American yachtsmen, accompanying the client through all the phases, from the initial concept to the creation of an individual, perfect personalized project.
At the helm of Sanlorenzo Americas, based in Fort Lauderdale, the new CEO Marco Segato has been chosen – also as a partner – to consolidate and develop growth on this strategic market, reached by the company through control of a sales network also operating in Peru, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Canada.

After having achieved remarkable success all over the world, the SX crossover line is back with new surprises for the American market, at the Miami International Boat Show 2020.
An effective and intelligent synthesis between the classic motoryacht with a flying bridge, for which Sanlorenzo continues to be one of the leading companies on a worldwide level, and the recent, expanding Explorer type, SX88 and SX76 offer novel and intriguing, rational and practical solutions featuring the unmistakable Sanlorenzo style, based on understatement and balanced proportions:
– the availability of large open spaces and glass surfaces to ensure effective and optimal indoor-outdoor communication;

– the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality. The hull with a high bow and marked character conserves the profile descending to the stern, streamlining the entire boat and giving it a vivid, forceful image.The superstructure with its large glass surfaces harmoniously blends the “full” parts of the structure and the “empty” zones of the glazing;
– the wheelhouse placed on the flying bridge provides a windshield and can be closed at the sides by vertical sliding windows, while the entire stern zone of the deck can be enclosed with Strataglass panels, provided as standard equipment. This solution also makes it possible to free up the entire main deck, for a seamless extension from bow to stern;

– the aft zone of the deck is totally equipped to offer space for livability, convivial enjoyment and relaxation, with a huge sun divan, convertible as a very private dining area. The beach deck in the stern,can house the tender and a jet ski. Freed from the presence of the tender, the vast platform becomes an extraordinary beach club,

The SX line has been designed by the style division of Sanlorenzo with the creative consulting of Luca Santella, creator of the SX line, and the studio Zuccon International Project, in charge of the layout and the external lines. The water line, as usual, is by Lou Codega, the American designer internationally renowned for fast and ocean-going fishing boats.
Selected to represent the Sanlorenzo fleet, the exhibits also include the models SL86 and SD112.
