Cannes 2026: two exclusive Sunreef premieres

Sunreef marked the Cannes Yachting Festival with the world premiere of the Sunreef ULTIMA 88 and the first presentation of Sunreef WETRA, the brand’s new intelligent yacht management ecosystem.

SUNREEF ULTIMA 88

Sunreef Yachts presented the Sunreef ULTIMA 88 Wasabi at the Cannes Yachting Festival, giving visitors the opportunity to experience a new interpretation of performance luxury at sea.
The latest addition to the ULTIMA range, the Sunreef ULTIMA 88 brings together dynamic performance, generous living space and refined comfort in a sleek multihull platform. Designed around the way people experience life on the water, she combines the agility of a monohull with the stability, space and shallow draft of a catamaran.
Her aerodynamic profile and optimized hull geometry are designed to enhance performance and efficiency, while ensuring smooth maneuverability and easy access to marinas and secluded anchorages. The yacht is available with highperformance power propulsion or an advanced hybrid configuration, enabling quiet electric cruising.
At anchor, the ULTIMA 88 transforms the relationship between yacht and sea.
Expansive opening bulwarks and a vast aft platform create a walkaround Ocean Lounge, bringing guests closer to the water and creating a natural setting for relaxation, socializing and time spent outdoors. Inside, generous living areas and a full-beam master suite create a calm, contemporary environment shaped around comfort and connection.
A distinctive feature of Wasabi is her dedicated sushi chef’s counter, also known as an omakase table. Set within the main living area, it creates an intimate culinary experience where guests can enjoy freshly prepared sushi while watching the chef at work. More than a dining space, it brings together craftsmanship, conviviality and a direct connection between the art of sushi-making and life on board.

SUNREEF WETRA

Presented for the first time aboard the ULTIMA 88, Sunreef WETRA is a Sunreef-developed intelligent ecosystem bringing the yacht’s essential functions into one connected environment.

Developed by Sunreef’s engineering team, Sunreef WETRA connects the yacht’s essential systems within one intelligent environment, accessible from the helm, onboard interfaces and mobile devices. The ambition is not to add another layer of technology, but to make technology increasingly invisible, reducing repetitive tasks, simplifying operation and giving owners and crews the right information at the right moment.

At the center of Sunreef WETRA is a fully configurable ultrawide helm interface, replacing multiple independent screens, gauges and control panels with one coherent digital environment. Navigation, propulsion, tank levels, electrical systems, weather, alarms and cameras can be organized according to the situation.
Sunreef WETRA can prioritize the information that matters depending on whether the yacht is cruising, maneuvering, docking or at anchor.

During the press conference, the Sunreef team also shared updates on the company’s strategy and infrastructure development, alongside the latest news from the ULTIMA range.

Highlights included the BRABUS ULTIMA 55, the first yacht born from the Sunreef Yachts and BRABUS collaboration, as well as the unveiling of the first renders of ULTIMA 44 R, a new special edition of the ULTIMA 44.
