As part of the next Design Week-end, which will take place in the municipality of Pietrasanta, in the province of Lucca, from 19th to 22th October 2023, the first edition of sailingCAD, an amateur sailing regatta for architects and designers, will be held on Friday 20 October.
A round table entitled “Gliding ideas, displacing ideas: the physics of creativity” will follow at 5.30 pm. Coordinated and sponsored by THE ONE Yacht & Design magazine and moderated by Désirée Sormani, Managing Director of THE ONE Yacht & Design with Giorgio Tartaro, journalist and design expert.
“It will be an opportunity to bring the nautical world into dialogue with that of design: two increasingly linked realities and fertile ground for profitable contamination,” commented Paola Coronel, creator and organizer of the event.
The meeting, which is part of a rich and varied program of exhibitions and conferences, takes inspiration from the general theme of the edition “The propagation of Ideas“ to bring the contribution of important stake holders.
On the nautical side, Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto, Valentina Gandini, CEO of Mylius Yacht, Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of Tankoa Yacht, Federico Rossi, CEO of Rossi Navi, will participate.
On the design side, Leonardo Allasia, Global Marketing & Communications Director at Poltrona Frau, Andrea Citterio, CEO of Penta/Arredoluce, Stefania Ferrari, Digital & Marketing Manager at Driade/FontanaArte, Stefania Lazzaroni, General Manager at Fondazione Altagamma, will be present.
